Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Mira Creator processes and why. Mira Creator is published by CES Venture (SIREN 991 370 115, 165 avenue de Bretagne, 59000 Lille, France) under the Hello Mira brand, which is the controller of this data. Contact: [email protected].

Data we process

  • Your Hello Mira account: identifier, email address and name, to sign you in.
  • Your projects: names, scripts, shot plans, the videos you film or upload, their sound tracks, transcripts and the videos assembled from them.
  • Connected social accounts: for TikTok, your TikTok account identifier (open_id), display name and avatar, the permissions you granted, and the access and refresh tokens issued by TikTok.
  • Your publications: the video, caption and settings you chose, and the status returned by the platform.

How we use TikTok data

When you connect TikTok, Mira Creator asks for the permissions user.info.basic (to show your display name and avatar), video.publish (to post a video to your account when you ask) and video.upload (to send a video to your TikTok drafts when you ask). We use them only to perform the action you start in Mira Creator. We do not read your followers, messages or other videos, we do not post on our own initiative, and we do not sell or share TikTok data with anyone.

Before each post, Mira Creator reads your current TikTok posting options (who can view, comments, duets, stitches, maximum duration) so you can choose them; these choices are sent to TikTok with the video.

Storage and security

Your files are stored privately in Hello Mira's storage in France (OVHcloud). TikTok access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never sent to your browser. Transcription is performed by a speech-to-text provider on our behalf, only on the sound of the takes you transcribe.

Retention and deletion

  • You can delete a take, a script, a transcript or an assembled video from its project at any time.
  • Disconnecting TikTok in Social accounts revokes the access at TikTok and deletes the stored tokens and profile data immediately. Your publication history is kept until you ask us to delete it.
  • When you delete your Hello Mira account, your projects and connected accounts are deleted.
  • You can ask for a copy or the deletion of your data at any time by writing to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, to object to and restrict its processing, and to complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr). The legal basis is the performance of the service you asked for.
